Best professions to AoE farm gold in The War Within

World of Warcraft has many different currencies that are used for many different purposes.

But the most important one, and considered the main currency in WoW is gold. Gold can be used to repair your gears, buy consumables to tackle harder content, or straight up buy stronger weapons and armor from the Auction House, etc. Gold will help speed up or provide many qualities of life for your progression in World of Warcraft. In this article, we will show you a few new spots to farm gold in the pre-season 1 of War Within expansions and how to maximize your profit. Gold farming in WoW is a time-consuming process. If you don’t have the time or just want to enjoy other content, you can buy cheap WoW gold from our friends at WowVendor.

The nature of these gold farming places is that you kill a lot of mobs with fast respawn time to get a lot of loot. That loot will be gold, gray items (sell them to vendors for gold), green BoE (bind of equip), and blue BoE. Since farming gold is already a grindy and time-consuming process, we want to reduce the time spent farming and increase the amount of gold or materials we get by making some preparations. And one of the ways to do that is by picking up the right professions. The best professions for gold farming are Tailoring, Inscription, and Enchanting.

Tailoring

In older expansion, cloth is a random drop, which everyone will get so the price of cloth is low compared to other gathering materials. But in the War Within expansion, you will need to have tailoring to allow you to get cloth as loot. To get even more clothes, you need to level up your Tailoring profession to 25 by simply crafting any recipe of your choice. We recommend crafting each new recipe at least one time for you to get specialization points. Then you will want to spend your specialization points on the Quality Fabric talent tree to get even more clothes with higher quality. You will have a chance to get clothes with 2-star quality after investing 15 points and 3-star quality at 30 points. If you still want to level up more into tailoring, “From dawn until dusk” is the next best specialization to get. It will give you a chance to find Duskweave or Dawnweave from any enemies. After that, you will want to get Textile Treasures to increase the chance for you to find any clothes you have unlocked to drop from humanoid mobs.

Inscription

The main reason for taking Inscription is because the chance to get Dark Moon card drops from killing any enemies. If you get the full cards set, you can turn it into a 577 ilvl BoE trinket that can sell for a decent amount on Auction House. To level up and get specialization points, you need to craft every recipe at least one time just like Tailoring. After that you will want to take Archival Additions and invest your points into Cryptic Collection and its sub-spec (Darkmoon Sigil) to increase the chance to find Darkmoon Cards. Each Darkmoon Sigil you can get to 15 will increase your ability to find Darkmoon Cards by 50%.

Enchanting

You will get a lot of BoE green or blue while you mass AoE farm enemies. Enchanting profession is always one of the best professions for gold income since everyone needs to change their gears as the game progresses. As the early of the expansion the price of disenchant mats is always high because of the demand. So if you don’t like Inscription or the price of Darkmoon Deck on your server is low, you can learn Enchanting instead. We would recommend you to take the Designated Disenchanter specializations, to increase the quality of reagents that you receive when destroying items.

Best gold-farming spots in WoW

Now the most important thing for the AoE farm gold method to work is where can you go and start farming. You will want where to have a high density of mob with a relatively fast respawn time. That is all you need for the farming to work. As the expansion has still just been released, there will be more places to be discovered but here are some of the locations:
