The beer company, Miller Genuine Draft (MGD), is taking their company to new heights with their new creative hub called MGD Design Lab. Their first project was to create a collection of versatile and stylish streetwear that Canadians will love. MGD teamed up with streetwear aficionado Jeff Staple to bring this line to exclusive boutique stores in Toronto and Montreal.
This crossover between fashion and music has inspired a line that features the black and gold details associated with MGD along with Staple’s own style. Jeff Staples is a streetwear icon and well-respected designer that has been in the business for over 20 years. He has been at the forefront of street culture and is an influential person in the design world. His work is filled with passion and expertise, which is the same kind of energy that goes into making MDG, the beer of urban nightlife.
This collaboration collection was released on June 20th, 2019 at Exclucity. The concept of this line is “why be one in a million when you can be one of none?” Leading to the line to be called MGD x Jeff Staple ‘One of None.’ This limited-edition line features six pieces; the classic long-sleeve tee, a crewneck sweatshirt, a hoodie, a waterproof Anorak-inspired pull-over jacket, track pants, and a bandana. Each item has MDG’s black and gold aesthetic and the iconic Staple Pigeon. This unisex, versatile gear is available in sizes XS to XL.
