Hollywood Glitz Meets Austin Cool: Inside SXSW’s Most Exclusive Cinema Experience

Austin’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival is renowned for its incredible films, bold ideas, and unforgettable parties, but this year, one venue truly stole the spotlight: Roxstar Entertainment’s Cinema Center.

Hosted over four days from March 7–10, 2025, the pop-up became the festival’s most exclusive spot for red-carpet premieres, celebrity sightings, and unforgettable moments.

Owned and produced by Roxstar Entertainment, a leading Hollywood event and PR agency, the Cinema Center was a must-visit destination for filmmakers, industry insiders, and stars alike. With top-tier sponsorships from Bloom Nutrition, Peroni, Hendrick’s Gin, and Rendezvous Films, the venue became a luxurious hotspot that attracted some of the biggest names in the entertainment world.

The Star-Studded Premieres and Parties

The excitement kicked off with the premiere of The Threesome, a daring drama starring Zoey Deutch and Ruby Cruz. The star-studded event set the tone for a weekend packed with big-name premieres and buzzing parties.

Roxstar Entertainment also hosted a standout party for Duplass Brothers Productions, celebrating the premieres of The Baltimorons and Magic Hour. The event, hosted by Jay and Mark Duplass, brought together the cast and crew, including Daveed Diggs, Brad Garrett, and Katie Aselton, for an evening of fun and spirited conversation.

As the weekend progressed, the premieres kept coming. We Are Storrer, directed by Michael Bay, was a massive draw, with a packed house eager to experience the action-packed film. American Sweatshop, starring Lili Reinhart and Daniela Melchior, generated a huge buzz, and We Bury the Dead, starring Daisy Ridley, rounded out the list of major premieres. Ridley’s attendance at the We Bury the Dead premiere was one of the highlights of the festival, marking an unforgettable night of celebration.

One of the most talked-about moments came with the premiere of The Rivals of Amziah King, where Matthew and Camila McConaughey kicked off the festivities with a celebratory toast, raising glasses of Pantalones Tequila and adding even more glamour to the evening.

Collider Studio: Where the Stars Shine

In addition to the glitzy premiere parties, Collider Studio became the hub for exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes access to some of the biggest stars at SXSW. The studio hosted a steady stream of celebrities, offering an intimate look into the minds of filmmakers and actors. 

Sporting a chic Chanel purse, H.E.R. sat down to discuss her documentary The Makings of Curtis Mayfield, offering fans a personal glimpse into her creative process.

Aaron Paul, Eiza González, and Flying Lotus also stopped by to talk about their upcoming thriller ASH, while rising star Amelie Zilber charmed audiences with insights into her role in Slanted, one of the breakout films of the festival.

With an unbeatable mix of red-carpet glamour, intimate interviews, and premium brand activations, the event was the ultimate destination for SXSW 2025.
