The birthplace of one of the most valuable companies in the world is right at your fingertips. Larry Page and Sergey Brin rented the garage from a friend for $1,700 a month. This small fee was the price to pay for Google’s very first headquarters. Since then, in 2006 Google bought the house in order to preserve the legacy of the company.

We know that HP is not quite as cool as Apple or Google, but you can’t deny that they have made many important contributions to the industry over the years. This is proved by the fact that the garage that the company started out of is now a historic landmark affectionately called “birthplace of Silicon Valley”.
