On May 16th, Haus 8, a new underground men’s dinner club, hosted an exclusive gentlemen’s dinner with the intent to give rising and accomplished men alike, an opportunity to network and connect with other like-minded men. Set inside the Emily Harding Gallery and Loft 109 unique event spaces, this exclusive night was full of delicious food, great laughs, drinks and more.
This dinner was just one of the events in Haus 8‘s events for men. Their mission is to build a community of men to share knowledge, wellness, and the finer things in life. Built to celebrate the modern man, Haus 8 strives to inspire and educate while enjoying the company of peers.
Checkout some of the shots from the party:
This luxurious evening of food, drink, and more started with hand-crafted cocktails in Loft 109. Guests had the opportunity to engage with high-end brands such as a luxurious Audi while also getting their photos taken by a professional portrait photographer.
The evening then moved into the Emily Harding Gallery where the guests enjoyed an incredible deconstructed whisky tasting courtesy of Bearface Whisky.
The exclusive and intimate dinner that followed the whisky tasting was prepared by the James Beard nominated chef, Jordan Wagman. He crafted an exquisite 5-course dinner and passionately spoke to the ingredients and creation of the meals.
The gentlemen started with a light and tasty Mushroom Arugula Salad. Their second course featured a flavourful Lobster Quinoa Risotto followed by Chicken Kale Meatballs in a rich cherry tomato sauce. Chef Wagman’s fourth course included a deliciously lean Pan-Seared Culotte with smoked carrots. For those that still had room for more, dessert was comprised of fresh strawberries and coconut.
There is no better way to end the night than standing on the rooftop terrace and enjoying fine cigars by Vivonte and after dinner cocktails.
Haus 8 is partnered with Jack.org, which is a non-profit organization that focuses on training and empowering leaders to revolutionize mental health. A portion of the proceeds from their events goes towards Jack.org as a way for these men to give back to the community.
As the men were leaving, they were given gift bags provided by Swagger magazine and many other brands. These swag bags were filled with quality items such as Saxx underwear, Flor de Cana Rum, Stolen Riches lapel pins and shoe laces, CXBO chocolate, cufflinks from Cuffwear, and beer from Cameron’s Brewery.
It was quite the evening, but best of all, surrounded by amazing men, also for an amazing cause, Jack.org. Feel free to share the photos using the #Haus8TO and #SwaggerLife hashtags for a chance to be featured on our social feeds!
