Today at Munich, BMW AG Chairman of the Board of Management, Harald Krüger announced the arrival of a new concept car — the BMW 8. The series will make its long-awaited return in 2018.
Along with this announcement, BMW will present a design study at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on May 26 2017, which will give us an exclusive look at the BMW 8 Series Coupe. This concept will embody an uncompromising dynamic mixed with contemporary luxury – the essence of a modern BMW coupe.
The success of BMW has always been based on long-term thinking and responsible action. Rather than ending up as a replacement for the 6 Series Coupe that was recently discontinued, it’s more likely this will be an all-new range based on BMW’s 7 Series Sedan. You can also expect a convertible to follow in 2019, and with that an M8 performance version will make it’s way too.
The latest coupe will build on the tradition luxurious sports car. And the new line-up of models will not only exceed expectations but give us a slice of pure fascination.
