Becoming a successful content creator hinges on the interactions between influencer and audience. 18-year-old gamer and streamer Hamzah Saadah, better recognized by his tag Absorber, knows this all too well.
His current followers across his social media platforms is over 8 million. Interacting with a community that large can bring its own set of unique challenges.
In an interview, Absorber described obstacles brought on by follower management. “A few challenges that I faced in the very beginning of this whole social media thing was ‘hate.’ I used to take every comment to heart, but I realized the more supporters I gain, the more ‘haters’ I gain, so rather than hurting me, it started to motivate me even more. As of right now, I am not facing too many challenges other than balancing school along with social media.”
Absorber’s message has always been positivity, and this is what he bases his career and follower interactions on. He relates, “Honestly, the one thing that I really want is just to entertain and spread positivity to as many people as possible. I am doing pretty well right now, and I do not plan on stopping anytime soon.” His future plans include forming a gaming organization, creating more lifestyle content, and one day owning a late-night talk shows.
This young entrepreneur also gave some advice to those following in his footsteps. “To be a successful entrepreneur, you have to be highly energetic and motivated. You cannot be afraid of failing. You need to fail to succeed, and I think that is the best way to put it. Put your mind to something, and get it done.” Absorber has followed the proven path of hard work and continual efforts on his rise in the streaming industry and will no doubt continue forward.
