Although the technology for Heat Recovery Ventilation systems is relatively new, there is enough documented evidence to substantiate at least three key benefits never before possible in just one unit. This is something that took the world by surprise in early 2020. Covid-19 first surfaced in Wuhan in the Hubei Province of China in late 2019 but wasn’t declared a global pandemic until mid-March of 2020. The World Health Organisation called it a Public Health Emergency of International Concern about six weeks prior to that, but what really took the world by surprise was the rapidity at which it spread. The first ‘news’ the world actually heard came out of New York City where people working in the same high-rise buildings were highly infected.

In the end, it is obvious that in today’s world, nothing can be more important than reducing the rising costs of energy, providing sustainable heat while working toward Net Zero and providing well-ventilated air to mitigate the spread of pathogens.
