At this week’s Tribeca Film Festival, “Asking For It” was a favorite of many attendees. With the incredible directing debut of Eamon O’Rourke and the support of Producers Kiersey Clemons, Lee Broda, Ezra Miller, and Luke Daniels, this movie was bound to be a success from the beginning.
Featuring actors such as Vanessa Hudgens, Kiersey Clemons, Alexandra Shipp, Radha Mitchell, and Ezra Miller, “Asking For It” is incomparable to any other film, for their collective acting skills are like no other.
After a small town waitress named Joey is sexually assaulted after a date with an old friend named Mike, she befriends Regina, a mysterious stranger who introduces her to The Cherry Bombers, an all femme gang that seeks to fight a misogynistic society by targeting violent frat boys, a corrupt police force of human traffickers, and a dangerous alt-right group called Men’s First Movement.
Any woman will feel confident, strong, and empowered after watching “Asking For It” as it is a film filled with female empowerment.
